OUSE, The Magazine of Design and Architecture, is the most enjoyable four-color magazine of its kind.
It is targeted to the affluent market from Fifth Avenue to the gracious homes on Long Island and to the high end communities from Northern New Jersey, Westchester and Connecticut. The unique editorial concept of interior design, architecture, travel and social events provides a mix that has made the magazine a success for two generations.
Aimed at those who can afford to travel in the luxury manner, the editorial and advertising depicts a distinctive lifestyle from Long Island's North Shore to the rustic enclaves of Greenwich and Short Hills. Its readers travel first class, cruise the Caribbean or sail the Greek isles. The magazine, however, never loses sight of its origins in the trendy Hamptons where New York sophisticates spend their weekends.
These affluent owners of houses in the greater New York metropolitan market also include those who live in expensive condominiums and cooperative apartments throughout the region and own homes in far off places. Studies have shown that Long Island, where the magazine is based, has some of the wealthiest communities in the United States. In Nassau County alone, at least a half-dozen communities rank among the top ten in the nation, namely Mill Neck, Muttontown, Brookville, Old Brookville, Sands Point, Oyster Bay and Manhasset. On the eastern end of Long Island, Southampton, Water Mill, East Hampton, Quogue and Remsenburg certainly qualify.
Since l98l, many creative editorial concepts have been added to our focus on architecture, interior design and travel. We travel to exotic places. We cover art, fashion, accessories and antiques and we bring new ideas in home entertainment.
HOUSE also interviews celebrities at home, world famous literary figures and sportsmen who have the profiles for luxury pastimes.
The magazine is for and about people who enjoy the beautiful lifestyle and own houses in the best of neighborhoods. |
