of this same stone throughout the project helped complete a monochromatic scheme and harmonize with the stucco veneer on the newly renovated house. An outdoor kitchen with easy access was an important element of the final design.

            Six Columnar Hornbeams, planted on three ascending levels, helped reinforce the symmetry.   Colorful mass plantings of "Carpet" and "Knockout" Roses, Deutzia, Caryopteris and three varieties of Hydrangea softened the elevation changes and enhanced the details of the hardscape.   The use of Platycodon, Astilbe, Alchemilla, Phlox, Iris, Eupatorium and Epimedium cast strokes of a 'Monet-like' palette across the slopes.

            The composition of all designed elements makes for a inviting, classically styled, and functional private environment.
