Every amenity for outdoor living

Designscapes creates creature comforts in the landscape

For many years Designscapes has constructed unique, one-of-a-kind creature comforts in their landscaping projects in order to meet the clients’ demand for the ultimate in amenities for their design projects. In the past five years, demand has grown and become more sophisticated – outdoor kitchens, containing not only stainless steel barbecues, but outdoor refrigerators, ice makers, beer keg coolers and more are becoming more common.

Beautiful pergolas create an actual room-like setting for the kitchen and may even tie together to a pavilion area so one can sit outside and entertain while being protected from the elements. These areas are designed to be a veritable outdoor living room complete with dining tables, deep seating groups and even a fireplace adorned with an outdoor television. The possibilities are endless.

Incorporating a water feature; a beautiful stream, babbling brook, waterfall or pond can create a tranquil atmosphere adjacent to your outdoor living room. Imagine spending hours relaxing with family and friends in your personal outdoor oasis. Other amenities include a cozy, poolside fire pit to warm yourself on a chilly summer night after enjoying a dip.

Conservatories, used as a transition from the home into their garden space, can be used year round extending the outdoor living investment into a four season activity area. This new living space interacts beautifully with the outdoors creating a unique opportunity to fully enjoy your garden; winter, spring, summer and fall.

A well thought out and designed garden can create your own private retreat filling your senses, as well as your soul, with beauty for all to enjoy. Creature comforts that are properly designed for their specific locale create an ambience that all people can relate to and envision within their own personal patch of heaven.
